Summer colours on Myosutra’s ethnic jackets

“If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?” – Percy Bysshe Shelley

Myosutra says ‘no’, as they are already ready to welcome the sun with their Spring Summer Ethnic jacket collection.

Six different types of jackets representing six different weaves from different corners of India are on offer in the collection.

Weaves include- Ikkat from Telengana, Madhubani on tussar silk from Bihar, Kani from Kashmir, and Assam silk from the North-eastern state of Assam. The range also includes special Dhakai weave jackets from Bangladesh.

Designer Roshni Mukherjee, and owner of Myosutra said: “British high streets are flooded only with mono-colours like black and grey. I feel that the English weather always demands outerwear in keeping with the concept of dopamine dressing. Hence, I thought of this range of Spring Summer Ethnic jackets to add some colour to the English summer.”

Roshni also advices recycling to enable sustainability in fashion. She said: “Why not convert one of your old sarees like kantha or baluchori into some trendy jacket? It is not only an innovative addition to your wardrobe but also the right thing to do.”

Myosutra’s summer jacket range is due to be launched at the end of February and promises to be a colourful addition to your wardrobe.
